Our Organisation

The organisation that runs Ceol Aneas each year is a New Zealand Incorporated Society which has charitable status. It’s called the “CELTIC FLUTE SCHOOL OF NEW ZEALAND INCORPORATED” which reflects its origins as a flute workshop. We operate under a set of formal rules.

Committee

Each year we elect a committee to run the organisation and create the annual workshop on the first weekend in June.

The committee is elected at the AGM which is held each year at the Workshop weekend. If you want to become  a committee member you need either to nominate yourself or have another member nominate you at least two weeks before the AGM so that members of the society know who is standing. The call out for nominations is now closed.

You can search for the formal registration details of the “CELTIC FLUTE SCHOOL OF NEW ZEALAND INCORPORATED” at the New Zealand Companies Office and details of our charitable status at Charities Services.
